Term sheet is a term sheet is a non-binding (usually) document outlining the key economic and control terms of a proposed investment before definitive legal agreements.
Term sheets are rare on the show floor but often the goal of investor-day follow-ups. Educate founders on what “term sheet” means so they do not confuse LOIs with closed capital. Organizers should not broker terms — only introductions.
