Definition
Sender reputation is the trust score mailbox providers assign to a sending domain or IP based on complaint rates, bounces, engagement, and authentication posture.
Reputation is earned slowly and burned quickly. Separate marketing and transactional streams when possible. A spike of cold email from a cold domain can kneecap registration and invoice mail too.
