Domain warm-up
Definition
Domain warm-up is the gradual increase of email send volume from a new or previously quiet domain so mailbox providers learn to trust the traffic pattern.
Warm-up prevents day-one blast disasters when a show launches outbound. Start with engaged lists, not purchased contacts. Rushing volume to “hit quota” is how domains get blocklisted mid-campaign.
