The tradeshow dictionary
A keynote is a headline talk delivered to an event's full audience, usually opening or closing a day, with no competing sessions scheduled against it. Keynote speakers are chosen for draw and authority — industry leaders, notable founders, well-known thinkers — and they anchor both the agenda and the event's marketing.
A knowledge graph is a connected map of everything an organization knows: the people, companies, products, and events in its world, plus how they all relate. For a trade show, it links attendees to employers, exhibitors to product categories, and visitors to the sessions and meetings that reveal what they actually want.
KPI framework (events) is the agreed structure of metrics an event team uses to judge performance — which numbers matter, how each is defined and measured, what target each carries, and who owns it. It connects daily operational metrics up to the commercial outcomes the event actually exists to produce.
