Job function mix is the distribution of an event's attendees across functional roles — procurement, engineering, operations, marketing, sales, finance, and so on. It shows what kinds of professionals the audience contains, which determines whether exhibitors meet the functions that specify, influence, and approve purchases in their category.

A judging round is one timed evaluation phase in a competition — for example written screening, semi-final pitches, or finals — with its own jurors, rubric, and advancement rules.

A judging rubric is the scored criteria sheet jurors use to evaluate applications or pitches consistently — typically dimensions like innovation, traction, market, and team.

A juror conflict of interest is a relationship (investment, employment, advising, family) that could bias — or appear to bias — a juror’s evaluation of an applicant.

A jury panel is the group of experts appointed to evaluate competition applications or live pitches and recommend winners under the programme’s rules.
