Data export and portability is the ability for an organizer to extract their event data in usable formats when switching tools or fulfilling data-subject requests.
Portability reduces vendor lock-in fear and is often a contractual requirement. Test exports before you need them in anger. Partial exports that omit meeting history are incomplete exits.
